The 7 Big Moments from the "Empire" Season 2 Premiere, "Devils Are Here"

The Lyon's are back and better than ever! Last night, marked the triumphant return of the FOX hit show, Empire, and struck big! The premiere itself got 16 MILLON VIEWERS, but that wasn't the biggest highlight of the episode. But, there were 7 things that stuck out in the premiere...

1. Why is Cookie in a gorilla suit? During the opening of the premiere, Cookie was unmasked in a gorilla suit during the "Free Lucious" concert.

2. Jamal is still running the "Empire?" Even though, in the season 1 finale of Empire, Cookie, Hakeem and Andre looked to take the Empire from Jamal, he is still running it. But, it seems to be that it's breaking him apart.

3. Cookie is Anika's Pimp? While trying to impress, Mimi Whiteman, (portrayed by Marisa Tomei) Cookie and the others were willing to do ANYTHING to get Mimi to agree to the deal. Which means that Boo Boo Kitty had to get a playmate.

4. Michael's Back or nah? One of the many things that happened during Season 1, included Jamal's boyfriend leaving the town and Jamal. Now, as Season 2 opens, Michael appears to be back. But, will he stay for long? Jamal's new attitude seems to be pushing him away... again.

5. Frank Gathers Arrives.. and Leaves? During the Season 2 Premiere of "Empire," Lucious was reunited with an old friend, Frank Gathers, who arrived to prison after Cookie snitched on him during Season 1. But, Frank had other plans, and they included Cookie. After Frank found out that Cookie was the one that snitched to the FBI about him, he sent her a warning present and started a war between he and Lucious. But, being in a war with the woman that Lucious loves, will get you killed... and that's what happened to Frank.

6. Jamal vs. Cookie?! Out of the many things that were surprising during the Season 2 Premiere was the sparking fight between Jamal and Cookie. But, will the two ever come back together?

7. Who will rule the "Empire?" This season of "Empire" will feature wars between the Lyon family and the anticpated return of Lucious Lyon! But, the question that everyone is waiting to know is... Who will rule the "Empire?"
