Pretty Little Liars 6x12 "Charlotte's Web" Recap!

Last night on Pretty Little Liars brought many more surprises, twists and turns that the last. The episode opened presumbly right after Charlotte's funeral. As everyone was just getting to sit down, Aria abruptly was getting ready to leave.. back to Boston. Before walking out of the hotel (The Radley), Hanna stops her and let's her know that she saw her (Aria) leave the hotel on the night that Charlotte was killed. Sure, Aria gave off an excuse, saying that she didn't go anywhere. But, Hanna knew it wasn't the truth.

Later that night, Spencer is getting home, and she walks into the kitchen and sees Veronica and Caleb sitting at the counter. Apparently, some bloggers are trying to pin Charlotte's death on the Liars, and Spencer isn't surprised by it. With Charlotte's death and a glowing target on the Liars' back, Spencer opts out of going to her mom's interview.

Now, to Hanna's fiance, Jordan... who surprised her with dinner in her hotel room. Jordan came to Rosewood after hearing about the police questioning Hanna about Charlotte's murder. In the midst of his surprise visit, he tells her that his Uncle is letting them have their wedding at the Hamptons. But, all Hanna wants to do now, is leave Rosewood and go back to New York. On that same night, before Aria heads back to Boston, she unexpectedly stops by Ezra's apartment to tell heim that they never saw each other on the night that Charlotte was killed. The next day, Emily is seen getting her blood drawn during another one of her unknown treatments. As she is leaving the medical center, she runs into Sabrina, who now runs the Brew. Emily is worried that Sabrina will tel and asks her not to tell anyone.

Later on that day, Spencer and Caleb sit and talk in the barnhouse about Charlotte's death. While looking for clues as to who killed her, they mention that the police believe that her death was pre-meditated. As Spencer looks on her laptop, she discovers an old research paper that she wrote that matched the exact cause of death as Charlotte.

Back in Boston, Aria faces trouble when her boss wants Liam, Aria's new boyfriend, to take over trying to get Ezra to deliver a second book. But, Aria intervenes and promises that she won't get distracted again and returns to Rosewood to talk to Ezra.

As the night arrives, Spencer, Emily, Caleb, Jordan and Hanna help Alison set up the dinner table for dinner. While looking for wine glasses, Hanna and Caleb reconnect for a second as Caleb comes to terms that Hanna is happy. As everyone gets to the table and sits down, Alison gets a phone call from Lorenzo telling that the time of death for Charlotte was around 4 a.m. Now, an upset Alison, says grace while calling out the suspect of Charlotte's death.

As Aria returns to Rosewood, she stops by Ezra's apartment and grabs his flash drive with the book on it. While talking to Ezra, she asks him where did he go after she left on the night Charlotte was killed. As presumed, Ezra lies and tells her that he went home. Now, with evidence that Aria left the hotel on the night that Charlotte was killed, the Liars are ready to hold a #PLLIntervention. As Aria walks into her house, the Liars confront her and demand the truth. On the night that Charlotte died, Aria left the hotel to meet with Ezra. As they walked by the park, and were prepared to say goodnight, they both see Charlotte pull up to the church in Alison's car. Aria gets in the taxi and heads back to hotel, as for Ezra continues to walk towards the church. After hearing this from Aria, Spencer believes that if Ezra killed Charlotte, he got the idea from her.

Later that night, Emily is seen visiting her father and crying... telling him how she knows that she messed up. As she was talking, she hears noice in the back of her.. as she turns around, she sees Sara Harvey. In that same moment, the scene flashes to Aria sitting in her bedroom and is looking through the flash drive that Ezra gave her. On the flash drive, is disturbing images on missing girls found dead, thinking that they were Nicole, Aria was freaked out. Back at the hotel, Hanna is seen deleting the security footage with Aria on it. While still in suspicion, Alison calls Lorenzo to her house and tells him that she believes that her friends had something to do with Charlotte's murder.

Next week on Pretty Little Liars, the Liars find themselves in familiar territory when the police are knocking on their doors, looking for answers. With her mother's job on the line, Hanna tries to come up with an alibi to save the four of them with the help of her old high school friend, Lucas. Meanwhile, Emily comes clean about the last five years and Aria goes the extra mile to keep Ezra's second book in play with her boss. WATCH THE PROMO BELOW!
